Team Bridgestone Malaysia

The team officially started in 2006 when Bridgestone Tyres Malaysia came on board as a title sponsor. We started off with the infamous AE86 which went through many variations as the sport progressed. By 2008 we made the swap to a S-chassis till today. Above is the evolution 2008-2012, from a 2.2L SR to a 7.0L Chevy LS7 by the end of 2012.

2010 – 2011 was the highlight of my career. FX Open powered us through Formula Drift Asia 2010 where we emerged champion and we ran in the East European Drift Series in Chris Forsberg’s SR powered 350Z.

Through out the years we have had 2 main demo cars. The Proton Waja RWD which was featured in Malaysia’s first drift movie Impak Maxima and not forgetting our black Speed City KL 180SX which took home 1st runner up at Formula Drift Qatar 2011.

We recently acquired the latest Toyota 86 in memory of our infamous AE86. This marks a new chapter for the team and revival of the original car that made us what we are today. We would like to thanks all our sponsors and fans who have supported us in our quest for speed. Malaysia Boleh!
