It was another great weekend for “Bridgestone Drift Team”. It has been a close fight between Tat Wei & myself in terms of points for the first 2 races. Tat Wei has managed to build a significant points gap from the first 2 rounds.
However, I have managed to reduce the Gap to 16 points after qualifying in top position and winning the event. The final round will be in December. Don’t miss it, it’ll be a fight to the finish.
Saturday was my last opportunity to test the Silvia before we loaded it into the container. The car went through a major overhaul, and this was our last opportunity for a shakedown before it leaves for the States. It’s also pumping more HP with SUNOCO race fuel (476HP @ wheels).
Some minor changes were made to suit the high entry speeds required @ RBDWC. Everything else was checked over, rebuilt and oiled.
